The IHSAA on Sunday drew sectional pairings for the upcoming boys basketball state tournament. Sectional play begins on Tuesday, Feb. 26 and continues through Saturday, March 2.
Two Howard County teams will open against conference rivals — North Central Conference champion Kokomo will face Marion in the Class 4A Lafayette Jeff Sectional, and Mid-Indiana Conference squads Western and Peru will tangle in the Class 3A Twin Lakes Sectional.
The following are pairings for sectionals involving KT-area teams.
