Paroled Ind. killer could be sent back to prison

Bloomington — A Bloomington man released from prison last year after serving 25 years for killing and dismembering a woman could be facing several more years in prison.

The Indiana Parole Board is scheduled to decide Tuesday whether 57-year-old Robert Evan Lee is sent back to prison for allegedly violating his parole.

Lee was released from prison in September after serving 25 years of his 60-year term in the 1985 killing and dismemberment of 31-year-old Ellen Marks of Bloomington. But he was arrested in November after authorities say he violated his parole by trying to get into a car with a woman in South Bend.

The Herald-Times reports Lee is being held at northern Indiana's Westville Correctional Facility and will appear before the parole board Tuesday via a video teleconference.
