Kokomo — Sarah Smith and Joseph Zahn were wed at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 24, 2011, at Kelley Historical Barn Site, officiated by the Rev. Steve Cole, uncle of the bride. A reception followed at the site.

She is the daughter of Larry and Sharon Smith, Kokomo. She graduated from Northwestern High School in 2006 and from Purdue University, West Lafayette, in 2010. She is a GIS tech at Advanced Ag Solutions, Lafayette.

He is the son of Al and Diana Zahn, Lafayette. He graduated from Central Catholic, Lafayette, in 2006, and from Ivy Tech, Lafayette, in 2011. He is a diesel mechanic at Dowell Automotive, Lafayette.

The maids of honor were Kayla Pier and Gina Rybolt. Bridesmaids were Emily Zahn, Chelsea Wilson, Summer Winrotte and Amber Schaefer. The flower girl was Bella Winrotte.

The best men were Andy Benkert and George Mraz. Groomsmen were Aaron Smith, Paul Meckl, Jeremiah Davis and Drew Oxley.

A week-long honeymoon followed to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The couple resides in Lafayette.
