Matthew Deeter and Kasey Burnette

Matthew Deeter and Kasey Burnette were married at 3:30 p.m. May 12, 2012, at Celebrations by Pastor Steve Cole. A reception followed at Celebrations.

She is the daughter of Misty Whittaker and Shane Burnette, both of Kokomo. She graduated from Western High School in May 2010 and is currently attending Indiana University Kokomo.

He is the son of Melissa Lechner and Rick Deeter, both of Kokomo. He graduated from Western High School in May 2007 and attended Purdue University for four years.

The maid of honor was Alexis Lawhead, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kayla Webber, friend of the bride, and Alizabeth Whittaker, sister of the bride. The flower girl was Emma Prince, niece of the bride.

The best man was Darrick Deeter, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Zack White, friend of the groom, and Mitch Padfield, cousin of the groom. The ring bearer was Braxton Deeter, son of the bride and groom.

After a trip to St. Petersburg, Fla., the couple resides in Kokomo.
