Andrea Schaefer and Ryan Lantz

Andrea Marie Schaefer and Ryan Charles Lantz were married Oct. 8, 2011, at the Vanderburgh County Fairgrounds in Evansville, officiated by Jill Kaetzel. A reception, dinner and dancing were held in the Community Building at the fairgrounds.

She is the daughter of Mark and Susan Schaefer, Newburgh. She is a hospice medical worker with her master’s degree in social work after graduating from Reitz Memorial High School and Indiana University.

He is the son of Michael and Joyce Lantz, Kokomo. He is employed as a landscape designer and management supervisor after graduating from Northwestern High School and Purdue University.

The maid of honor was Keely Griggs, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Megan Thomas, friend of the bride, Jennifer Jester, sister of the bride, Cara Overholser, friend of the bride, and Katie Dodd and Kristen Flittner, sisters of the bride. The flower girl was Katelyn Flittner, niece and goddaughter of the bride.

The best man was Erik Lantz, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Scott Lavengood, Jordan Heinzman and Erik Hartman, friends of the groom, and Rob Dodd, brother-in-law of the bride.

The couple resides in Evansville following their honeymoon in North Carolina.
